Baldanconi who is a listed Italian artist, who painted in the mid-late 19th Century (not much more is known). This painting features an older gentleman with a magnifying glass, apparently examining an object. The painting measures 10.75" x 13.75", and the outer dimensions of the frame are 20" x 24". The frame in custom, and beautifully matted & carved. The painting is in excellent condition, free of rips, tears, stains, or foxing. There is some light, even fading, commensurate with age.
