Description: The Prolix model follows a long standing tradition of extremely functional and ergonomic knife patterns out of the knife design duo team that is the Ferrum Forge brothers. This model the Prolix, was designed alongside the Stinger line, but alternatively used a wharncliffe blade shape to create a unique profile that allows for highly controlled cutting, and in incredibly versatile shape. With the combination of forward finger choil and wharncliffe edge, it becomes possible to choke up on the knife grip and have an incredibly controllable tip for precise cutting tasks. Adding a touch of extra detail with the addition of the carbon fiber scales over the base model G10 options, the carbon offers a more modern and unique look. This model has now been discontinued for a couple years, and has sold through knife retailers, making this model quite uncommon to find in brand new, unused condition. The knife uses Nitro-V blade steel, which is capable of holding an extremely fine edge, even with thinner blade stock, making this knife quite a slicer. Thanks to the ergonomics, the rugged materials and utilitarian design, this knife would make a fantastic daily carry option.
