Description: This lamp was done in 1971, which was the very early production of the Burmese with Louise Piper being the decorator you will notice in the next few years The pattern became less elaborate as it was delegated to other artists. This has no damage and does have the original chimney, which is a nice touch. As a side bar for the newer collectors, you will also note that Piper also picked the heaviest and most colorful blanks.
