Description: Fender Telecaster Custom Mod 1980 Used Ash Body Maple Neck w/Hard Case Both neck date and body date are 80 years old S8 serial. This is a regular 2-single tele modified into a telecaster custom. A 1974 vintage CuNiFe pickup is mounted on the front, and a pickup that is believed to be the original is used on the rear. This is one recommended for players, as it has a vintage nuance that is different from recent reissue models. The vintage tone that gives you a sense of air cannot be enjoyed with recent models. It has a tight and edgy sound unique to this period. CTS is used for the pot, and Orange Drop is mounted for the condenser. The bridge is the original 6Way custom made at this time, so the parts are based on that. There are some scuffs and scratches due to playing, but there is no major damage to the body considering its age. The paint on the fingerboard has some peeling, which is common in this age, but the playing condition is good. Approximately 70-80% of the frets remain, and there are no noticeable warps or twists on the neck. We have confirmed that the truss rod can also operate in both directions. The electrical connections are also in good condition with no gully on the knobs. Comes with original hard case. Peg (recent F key), nut, pot x 4, capacitor x 2, SW, jack, pickguard, knob x 4, strap pin replaced. It seems that the body processing was not done by a shop.
