Description: Fender either used a green felt similar to this or more often the red name rail felt for the back rail where the end of the keys fall. If you'd like to use the red namerail felt we sell those as well but we prefer this felt. It's slightly thicker and does a better job at absorbing the force of returning keys.In some cases, where the back rail felt is very worn or too thin, replacing with this felt will quiet the key action somewhat. It will also somewhat minimize bounce which can occur and in some cases disrupt the action. As with almost all our felt products for piano and Rhodes this is the highest quality available.
