Description: This is a brand new and in the box Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Telecaster pickup set with wiring and hardware. This pickup set is specially overwound and are made with alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire for outstanding presence and midrange. They have higher output suited for that Texas Blues and country sound that will supercharge the signature sparkle of a Telecaster with more gutteral midrange punch that will drive your amp that much harder. The nickel/silver neck pickup cover produces clear, warm Telecaster tone. The bridge pickup features height staggered polepieces and copper-plated steel bottom plate. The DC resistance is 9.5k, and the inductance is 3.3 Henries. The bridge pickup has a DC resistance of 10.5k and an inductance of 3.95 Henries. This is a great upgrade and an alternative to the standard Tele pickup set. Get the edge to your sound that you've been looking for with this easy-to-install pickup. Screws, wiring and instructions are included. This is a legendary pickup that can make you a legend. During the recent shutdown I swapped out the stock pickups that were on my MIM Tele with these. OMG, the difference was incredible. At normal gain they are clear and punchy with full midrange and great volume. At higher gains they are amazing, too. We wired these in with a 4-way switch with reversed polarity in the 4th position, aka Merle Haggard wiring. (wiring diagram available upon request).
