Overwound Red Hot Strat pickups provide searing hot tone. The five-way switch is connected to "½ blender" wiring, which lets the neck pickup be blended in positions 1 and 2. Other features include single ply parchment pickguard, Custom Shop vintage-style synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and a vintage-style disc string tree with metal spacer.
