Description: Here we have a pre owned Fender American Series Stratocaster electric guitar. Made in the USA in 2001. Color is Hot Rod Red. The American Standard series features an Alder body with a bolt- on Maple neck and fingerboard. 22- frets, medium jumbo frets, 9.5" radius, and a C shape neck. 3- single coil pickups, Chrome hardware, and classic Volume, Tone, Tone controls with a 5- way switch. This one weighs 7lbs 13oz. It comes with its original molded plastic Fender hard shell case, paperwork, strap locks, and tremolo arm. This guitar has just been setup by our technician and is playing great. The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod is working perfectly with good travel in both directions. The frets are in great shape with very minimal signs of wear. We did a light level on them to make sure things are straight. The guitar plays fast and clean up and down the fingerboard. Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition. There are bumps, nicks, marks, indents, and scuffs on the instrument. It has been played but not abused. There are some light belt buckle marks between the neck plate and backplate. There area couple of marks on the headstock. The body has a few small paint chips. The edges took the most of it. There is one inch long scratch near the treble side of the tremolo. Overall, it has general wear from being played. Most of the marks are typical from the instrument being leaned or laid against something. Overall pretty clean shape for its age. The American Series Stratocaster is a staple in the guitar world.
