Description: The picturesque miniature boxes of the Fedoskino school are known around the world. Fedoskino caskets are created by masters manually, painted with thin squirrel tassels, using mother of pearl and paints created according to an old recipe. The mineral dye is mixed with egg yolk, water and vinegar, getting bright, saturated colors. The box consists of two parts, the upper lid is made of a real large shell, and the lower lid is made of papier mache. The artist painted on the box a picture from Sadko's fairy tale about a journey to the underwater kingdom. The faces, figures of the main characters, the kingdom itself are depicted at a high level, and the most interesting thing is that inside the box the artist also drew a picture from this fairy tale, which added even more interest to it. The lid opens up. At the bottom of the picture the work is signed with the name of the artist and name of style. At the final stage, the box is varnished, which is leveled and polished. This is very beautiful box , best for collection or gift. In the box you can store jewelry and memorabilia. Size : 7" 4.7" 2.7" (18 12 7 cm). Artist - Zemin 2006
