Description: Pioneer was manufactured by the Federal Glass Company in Columbus, Ohio starting during the war years of the 1940s. The pattern was first manufactured in pink with the crystal pieces added later. Some crystal pieces were made until 1973. The pink 7 inch bowl is in great shape with no nicks, scratches or chips. The fruit pattern on the bottom is clear and well-defined. The bowl is shallow, about 2 inches deep. It'll make a wonderful accent piece for the table filled with fresh fruit or salad. Though not actually part of the depression glass era, the Pioneer pattern is often included as part of that discussion. I offer 30 day returns, the buyer pays for return shipping.
