Description: This is a nice, original Cold War propaganda report produced by the United States Psychological Warfare Division, Eighth US Army, Far East, APO 500. This publication shows the direction and trend of propaganda emanating from Communist controlled media (particularly the USSR, China, and North Korea), and keeps up to date the annual listing of holidays and commemorations of significance to Psychological warfare and related programs. Also contains information on international relations between both Communist and Non-communist states. All information contained in Communist Propaganda Trends has been obtained from unclassified sources. Dated February 20,1957. #112. Featured article is the celebration of the Seventh Anniversary of the Sino-Soviet Treaty. This item and subsequent items we are listing were acquired from the estate of a officer that served in the Psychological Warfare Department during the Korean and Cold war. This officer has also possessed propaganda/PSYOPS documents from earlier and later parts of the Cold War including World War II and from early in the Vietnam War. The precis attached to the leaflet describing its intent was at the time not a publicly available item. The booklet measures 8" x 13" and contains 13 pages There is some mild surface discoloration and some wear at edges, some mild creasing to report. Please review photos and Email me with any question.
