Description: This is a Bronze & Silver coloured cased pendant Curb chain necklace made from a Britannia FARTHING coin. The earliest is from 1911, latest from 1936. Issued during the reign of King George V featuring Britannia holding a Trident & Union Shield. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The Curb chain is Silver plated with a Lobster claw clasp. Length 450 mm (18") which can extend to 500 mm (20"). Link size is 5 x 3 mm. The pendant case is Silver plated with an engraved spiral detail on the rear. A similar item with a more delicate chain is available on another page.
