Description: • Wonderful, genuinely vintage hat by La Belle Belgium for Mark III in black felt• Brown and ivory leatherette band accented with red French grosgrain ribbon• Marked "La Belle Body Made in Belgium" on interior crown• Mark III and Union Made 278252 USA tags on head-size band• Interior circumference measured at approximately 21.75"• Approximate exterior dimensions: 8.375" front to back; 8.5" side to side; 6.5" high• Single owner, from my Grandmother’s collection of hats, purchased sometime between mid-1930s to mid-1960s• This hat was safely stored for 50+years in my grandmother's and mother's closets• In very good vintage condition: • Clean; some lint; a faint sachet scent • Stitching appears to be intact and secure • Small amount of color loss to felt near interior band • Light wear and discoloration on sections of interior head-size band and tag • Small spot on ivory section of leatherette band at rear, see photos• Home is smoke free but not pet free• Photographs are part of the description; all photos are of item you will receive; more photos available• Please ask questions prior to purchase• Boxed hat ships within 3 business days of completed payment, to USA addresses only• Returns within 30 days of receipt; buyer pays return shipping; item must be in original condition as shipped• Please view my other listings for more vintage women's hats • Minor imperfections and flaws are common on vintage items.
