Description: The Breitling Shark was produced for a short period during the mid 90s, but is today a seldom seen model and this watch is rarer than most! Aside from the addition of a quartz chronograph function, this 'Yachting' variant also adds as a striking regatta countdown timer too and is one of only very few to have come up for sale in recent times.With just one owner from new, the watch was originally purchased in Bahrain and comes complete with box, manual, warranty docs and spare service parts. The warranty I'm told was however mixed up at Bahrain airport (first owner being in a hurry to catch his flight) and shows the correct model but incorrect serial number to the watch. The watch will however be sent with a brand new certificate of authenticity through Ebay, just in case of any doubt!The watch has been exceptionally well looked after, overhauled and serviced by Breitling many times during its life, as is evident from both its cosmetic condition and the array of original spare parts accompanying it. Most recently it's had new hands, waterproof gaskets and a new crystal glass fitted.Timekeeping is, as you would expect, exceptionally accurate with no evident loss whatsoever. The chronograph works perfectly with the exception of the split-second-timer. The measurement of minutes, hours seconds and regatta countdown work and reset exactly as needed, the split-seconds alone do at present not reset although this has no affect on the overall operation of the rest of the watch.
