This engine is in exceptional condition for being 50+ years old.It has been air tested (video) and runs very smoothly on air.It should give very little trouble to operate on steam. It is complete, except for the consumables and comes with the original box that is in average/good condition (Wilesco boxes from that era did not age very well).You will need some solid fuel (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and distilled water is strongly recommended. There is hardly any rust, nick or paint fading.A bit of dusting is all it needs (if you wish).It is perfectly gift-able. The D12 Single Cylinder was discontinued a while back. That was 65 years ago. I have been collecting them for 25 years and I am now 74. None of my descendants is interested in the collection, so I decided that it was time to liquidate.
