I have tested all the keys on the keyboard for function and have done basic calculation on the calculator to verify operation. I was not able to test the programming and engineering functions due to a lack of knowledge on my part, but everything seems to work perfectly. FEATURES: 100% BASIC compatible, with built in CASIO-BASIC operating system Preinstalled apps and functions: Advanced BASIC interpreter for BASIC programs Data-Bank functions (phones, names, etc... ) Calculator with 61 scientific functions The Casio FX-730P was one of several programmable calculators which were introduced by Casio in the mid 1980's Compared to most calculators which were still sold in the 1970's and 1980's this unit was a giant leap forward in capabilities. It featured many mathematical and statistical functions and came with 8KB of internal storage. It could be programmed with Casio proprietary Basic programming language. Complex functions could be applied to many values and could be stored with a “MEMO” function and repeatedly executed with the “CALC” function. The backside of the calculator featured a connector which allowed for the attachment of a small dedicated printer, a cassette recorder interface for programming and data storage or a PC-communication module. Internally there is space for an 8KB RAM extension module.
