For your consideration is a Mamod TE1a Live Steam Tractor made in England in the mid 1970s. The tractor is in excellent condition and, if you plan to get a new one and fire it, save a lot of money and get this one instead. This steam tractor is 100% complete and 100% original, including the original box that is in good condition.It has been air tested (video) and should operate on steam without much trouble. The tractor has been fired but it was very much cared for. You will need some solid fuel pellets (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and distilled water is strongly recommended.Despite what the box says, there is no solid fuel included. Mamod closed its doors in August 2024. This item was been around for 60+ years without a whole lot of changes.
