Near the Virgin of the Solitude, who is watching over the procession, stands another depiction of the wedding couple. The church is in the background with a full moon in the sky.The words are loosely translated as follows: “Virgin of the Solitude, we give thanks because we were able to get married in our town with our old customs. [Signed] Julia y Macario, Oax, Mex. 1964.”The tin sign measures 8-1/2 inches across x just about 6-1/4 inches in height.
