Product Information The Remington 700 Rail Tactical Scope Mount is a rifle scope (one-piece) which is designed to seamlessly fit with the Remington 700 rifle. The best part of Picatinny rail mount is that it provides effective riflescope positioning for best eye relief. To cover broad assortment of firing distances, the EGW mount comes in variety of options: for long and short action as well as 0,15, and 25 MOA. Likewise, the pattern on the Remington 700 Short Action mount fits perfectly on Short Action Remington 700 rifles. For example, the 700 Short Action fits nicely on 223, 308 Short Action Remington 700 rifles. If you have Howa 1500 or Weatherby Vanguard, then Remington 700 mount will NOT fit nicely with them, though. Although the pattern is similar, the remainder of the mount, like the length and the ejection port, for example, becomes useless in the above two guns. EGWs one piece scope is definitely the obvious choice for many tactical shooter and hunters, alike. The Picatinny cross slots covers the whole length of the rail, giving the shooter the suppleness required while mounting scope rings and variety of other accessories. The channel present in the center actually reduces the overall weight of the mount, ming it weigh only 2-3oz. In many instances, the mount will also not obstruct if you are using any factory manufactured iron sights.
