The pages are of an unusually soft material; it's very vintage feeling--some of the pages remain uncut! There's browning on the edges and yellowing throughout. I did not see any writing except for the aforementioned inscriptions. If you have any questions, send 'em! This would be the time to determine things, because there are no returns on this book! And do not hesitate to ask for more pictures if you'd like. I do my best to accurately represent the books you will be receiving.
