This exquisite piece is beautifully decorated with a relief pattern of finely detailed eucalyptus gum leaves which stylishly flow around the sleekly curved surface of the bowl. Thickly moulded gum nuts are clustered evenly amongst the eucalyptus leaves, with the largest of the gum nuts to the base forming squat feet which beautifully elevate the elegant bowl. This exceptional example has been crafted in satin frosted clear glass which beautifully diffuses the light adding an ethereal lightness to the design. The relief patten adds an appealing textural element to the design and magnificently radiates light throughout the glass giving superb definition to the gum leaves. This exquisite piece, with its wonderfully appealing Australiana theme, so perfectly embodies all of the style and elegance of the Art Deco / Art Nouveau period.
