Description: Estes Firefly #1280 clone kit with laser-cut parts. This is an auction for a clone kit of the "Firefly" Parasite glider made by Estes in the 70's. The Firefly was a cool, delta-winged glider you could add to your bigger Estes Rockets (like the Big Bertha). It would hitch a ride on your rocket and separate at apogee, gliding back to earth. I have built a couple of these and they really do fly well. I have achieved flight times over 90 seconds on a "C" boosted rocket. Kit includes laser-cut balsa parts, strip stock for the fuselage, a dowel for the attachment hook and a launch lug which you glue to the carrier rocket as well as the info on where to download the original instructions.
