Description: Estate Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Ring - Size 4 / 2.45 TCW This is a wonderful antique circa 1920/30's estate platinum (platinum alloy, not sure what percentage) diamond and sapphire ring. One circular brilliant cut diamond SI-2/I weighs an estimated 0.86 carats. Two old European diamonds I-2/H weigh an estimated total of 1.05 carats. Eighteen diamonds weigh an estimated total of 0.54 carats. Four transparent blue sapphire corundum measures approximately 2.75mm by 2.0mm. The ring mounting weighs 4.4 grams (4.9 grams total weight). The appraisal says the ring is a size 4.5, however I get a size 4. This ring is a size 4. This item comes with a Emerald City Gemologist preliminary appraisal report with an estimatedreplacement value as $7,000.00 February 23, 2024. This item is previously owned. This item has light surface scratches and one sapphire and diamond is chipped and one sapphire is broken (stable in setting).
