Description: A wonderful antique Erhard & Söhne Ink Well. It was made in Germany in the early 1900's and measures approximately 1/2" tall overall by 1 1/4" wide. The inkwell is shown on page 38 in the fantastic reference book titled Goldenes Puppenstuben - Zubehör Die Metallspielwaren der Firma Erhard & Söhne (Ormolu Dollhouse Accessories Metal Toys from the Erhard & Söhne Company) by Swantje Köhler. It is numbered #2673 in the circa 1900 Catalog A shown in the book. It is in good condition with some darkening to the finish and a few spots of corrosion.
