Description: Two more packs for sale. Once they're gone, here are some replacements online in Canada. They are said to be specifically for vintage Cross Centuries. I have not purchased from this site and don't know anything more. But others might want to check it out. Click on #8403 https retail.culmerpen.com/collection/tech-3/cross-mechanical-pencil-erasers/ ---------------------------------------- Vintage pink erasers in silver metal fittings, for older-model Cross Century mechanical pencils. In original tube packaging from Cross in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Each tube listed for sale contains three erasers. (Product box in photo 1 not included.) It seems that no one is producing erasers for old-style Century mechanical pencils, which otherwise last decades. Hoping some enterprising person will step up so we can keep them in use. In the meantime, three erasers should last a long time if used sparingly, and indefinitely to keep the leads from falling out of your pencil. The vintage eraser has a width of just over 5mm, and with the fitting, just under 6mm. They fit my old Cross Century mechanical pencils that use 7mm (or 9mm) leads, are retractable, and have internal lead storage. Both those with pocket clip and without (the anachronistic but lovely "Lady" pencils). I do not know about other vintage pencil models. They will NOT fit more recent Cross Century pencils, based on my collection (last 2 photos), including: --Pencils with lead storage that are not retractable (black lacquer, which I got as a warranty exchange c. 2010s, with thinner 5-6mm leads). (Cross and commercial alternatives are available.) --Pencils with combined 5mm lead/eraser cartridges that are also nonretractable. (Chrome Amazon purchase in last ~5 years.)
