Description: Our 2:1 epoxy resin system is a two part high strength resin. It is water resistant which makes it perfect for a variety of composite applications including boats and surfboards. Other popular uses: -As an adhesive for bonding fiberglass, wood, metal and some plastics-Composite parts-High performance and light weight parts-Mixed with fillers to achieve thixotropic properties for high strength adhesives Application: -The ideal working temperature for epoxy resin is 75-80 degrees. It is important that the room, resin and surface area are all 75-80 degrees. -Make sure surface is prepped and free of dust or other contaminates before mixing epoxy.-Accurate measuring is very important. This 2:1 epoxy is measured by volume. -Thoroughly mix for 3-5 minutes making sure to scrape the sides and bottom of container.-Apply with fiberglass roller, brush, squeegee or spreader.-Wear appropriate safety clothing Storage:-Store epoxy resin in cool, dry area. Fast hardener- Quickest cure with a gel time of 10-15 minutes in 77 degrees Fahrenheit. .75 gallon kit= ½ gallon epoxy and quart of hardener
