In addition to the already released 1958 Korina Flying V/Explorer and 1963 Firebird I/V, Gibson's representative models such as the Les Paul Standard, SG Custom, ES-355, and Les Paul Custom will be newly released. In collaboration with Gibson Custom Shop, Epiphone will release the 1959 ES-355, a beautiful reproduction of the 1959 ES model, a historic masterpiece. The ES-355 is the top model among the many ES models, and the body dimensions, body top contour, inlay pattern, and even acoustic characteristics are accurately reproduced. The 1959 ES-355 has a 5-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a solid maple center block that is resistant to feedback and produces rich sustain. The 1-piece mahogany neck with a 50s round medium "C" profile and ebony fingerboard have mother-of-pearl block position inlays. The headstock is Gibson's original "openbook" headstock shape, with a mother-of-pearl split diamond inlay on the front and the "Inspired by Gibson Custom" logo engraved on the back. The pickup is a Gibson Custombucker, which is also used in Custom Shop products.
