Description: English Sheraton Candlesticks Pair Thomas Daniell Sterling Silver 1785 Crest English George III sterling silver pair of Sheraton style candlesticks with bobeche cups. On the bases, there is an applied octagonal plaque with engraved crest, featuring a lion holding an anchor. Made by Thomas Daniell, c. 1780-1790. These presentable candlesticks are 2 1/4" in top diameter, 12" tall, square base is 4 3/4" wide. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
