Description: Early 19th century English bone china Tea-pot-on-stand with lidded sucrier c. 1812-1813unmarked but most likely Arnstice Horton & Rose Decorated in puce-color and crimson, with extensive over-gilding. Note particularly the gilt sprigging to both handles and spout, and the exuberant gilt swags with tassels and leaves. Please be advised: the sugar bowl has a very minor chip to the outer edge over one handle, measuring just under 1/4” (.5 cm) across. Otherwise all five pieces are in perfect order with just the merest hint of wear to the gilding on the tip of both lid finials. The inside of the tea pot has no stains. (Brite-cut sugar tongs and sugar cubes not included!!!)
