The head gaskets are 0.020" thick copper. The primary gasket (chain cover gasket) if Foamet - a layer of rubber on both sides of the gasket. The rubber makes the gasket seal immediately without any gasket sealer. This kind of gasket does not stick to the metal, so it will come off easily and can be re-used if you need to take of the chain cover for any reason. All the larger rubber-lipped oil seals are spring-loaded. Primary gasket is Foamet - rubber on both sides of a steel core The 12 pushrod cover washers are cork - about 0.175" thick - that is 4.5mm or just under 3/16" thick. This kit has a Starter Housing Gasket. If you do NOT have a starter, please ask us to send you a starter blockoff gasket (i.e. a hole cover gasket) instead. The blockoff gasket is the same shape as the one shown, but does not have the large starter hole in the middle.
