This factory was opened in 1925 in Pforzheim by Paul Dummert. The new owners ( 1970 Mr. W Klein and Mr Benziger ) decided in 1980 that it is expedient for the company to have its own brand and the name Elysee was conceived. The pens in the auction have slim body and are rounded at the end and with a special designed top section. The pens in the auction will come in green laque. Its a special structure laque that looks like leather. So this model was called laque leather. The pens are from the 1990ties. The mechanism of the ballpoint works without any problems. I have cleaned the nib setcion of the pen in a ultrysonic cleaner. It has lost a bit of its goldplating on the nib. The nib is in M size and it has a cartrdige system. The laque work of the pens has no damages. In 2000 the factory Elysee stoped to produce pens, so there won´t come new models anymore. Interesting is that this factory was distributed in the 1980ties by Montblanc and later by the company Staedtler. The pen measures about 5,39 inches.
