Care Instructions To take care of your new succulent, plant them in a porous, well-draining soil. To make your own cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage. Succulents are prone to wet feet so it is important not to overwater them. Wait to water the plant again until the top inch of the potting mix feels dry. *** If you open the package and the leaves of the plant have fallen off, don't throw it away and put the leaves in the pot, and you'll get a new babies *** Keep the Succulents healthy: Immediately after receiving the succulent, plant it in a pot and lightly spray with water. Then lightly spray with water every other day to encourage root growth. After about 2-3 weeks, when the roots are established, give enough water. (Bottom water the succulent by placing the pot 1 to 2 inches deep into a bowl of water and soak for 2-3 hours). Then wait 2-3 weeks until the soil is completely dry and then water in the same way.
