Description: Ruth and Nayouki Taneda taught music to children for more than 40 years. In the process, they present a new style of instrumental instruction. About the AuthorNaoyuki Taneda studied at Tokyo University of Fine Arts. After studying in Vienna in 1962, he taught at the Darmstadt Music Academy in Germany. In 1967 he became a piano teacher at the Music University in Karlsruhe, Germany, and he continued there as a professor from 1976 through 1994. Since 1994 he taught at several universities in Japan. In addition to extensive international concert activities, Mr. Taneda led piano master courses and was especially interested in piano instruction for children.
