Early, Shiny Brite Blue Bulbs - Vintage Christmas

Description: For anyone looking for BLUE Shiny Brite ornaments for a blue-themed Christmas! ***DESCRIPTION: These ornaments are rare glass Christmas ornaments from around 1940, predating the war. Limited production makes them scarce and very hard to find. The metal cap is labeled "Made in U.S. of A.," possibly predating Shiny Brite metal caps and serving as one of the earliest Shiny Brite ornaments. ***DIMENSIONS: 3" tall (excluding the hanging loop) and 1 1/2" wide ***CONDITION: These blue ornaments are all in good, vintage condition with no chips or cracks. You will find the usual oxidation spotting and a loss of silvering (darkening) around the neck to be expected with a vintage ornament but it is still gorgeous! ***PLEASE READ: These 1950s Shiny Brite ornaments are vintage ornaments and there are imperfections. For example, there's some discoloration and spotting in a few spots and some of the silvering has worn away on the solid blue bulb. The metal tops are marked 'Made in the U.S. of A' or Shiny Brite. I think the patina created over time makes vintage and antique ornaments special, but they are not perfect!*** STAMPED - MADE IN THE U.S. OF A. or Shiny Brite. ***OUTSTANDING FEATURE: These ornament bulbs are all blue. Three are striped and one is solid!
