Description: For sale is a large master butter knife in the aesthetic RAPHAEL pattern by Gorham, introduced in 1874. The knife is 8 inches long and weighs 43 grams. The blade is decorated with engraving. The piece is monogrammed “MM” on the handle front. The knife is marked with the Gorham trademark, “PAT.74” and “STERLING”. Condition on the piece is fairly good. The blade tip was bent and flattened out at some point, but otherwise there are just normal signs of use. A decent piece in a great old pattern!
