Description: What a heartfelt pattern on a fabulous example of a 19th century table piece! This is a large, flat bottom celery vase from the late Victorian Era, and was made by Tarentum Glass around 1890. Use as a flower vase, for its intended purpose of serving celery with water to keep it fresh, or as a valued addition to an antique or Victorian collection. It is just under 5 3/4" in height and has a top diameter of 4". This celery vase shows very clear glass and excellent pattern definition. There are no chips or cracks. As with EAPG, Depression Era, and other vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, bubbles, ripples and mold marks on bottoms or sides from the original mold and/or production process.Shipping: I strive to preserve historic pieces AND our natural world via careful packaging using recycled and repurposed materials.
