Description: For sale is a vintage authentic Pelle Lindbergh jersey from Eagle Athletic. For tragic reasons this jersey was only available from 1984-85 during Pelle’s reign as the best goaltender in the world. He tragically lost his life early in the 1985 season, cutting short what would have been a Hall of Fame career. Eagle Athletic was the official jersey provider for the Flyers for a very short time in the 80s. They hand stitched the jerseys during this time at the companies HQ in West Chester, PA. Legit jerseys from Pelle Lindbergh’s career are made by Eagle Sportswear. The CCM Lindbergh jerseys you see elsewhere on eBay are reproductions that have been custom made well after the 1985 season; these reproduction jerseys were never available for sale in the Spectrum or elsewhere during Pelle’s career. This jersey is stitched at all points- the letters, numbers, and the Flyers crest. This is not iron-on, it is a true authentic jersey. They simply don’t make hockey jerseys with this look and quality anymore. The jersey is in excellent condition as shown in photos. The jersey is measured in the photos- please refer to these photos for sizing. The jersey does not have a tag, and therefore I do not know the exact size. My best guess is it is a size adult large, but please review the exact measurements.
