Description: This vintage Lea Stein brooch is a classic. This large 3 1/4 by 1 1/8th inch design is very versatile, great for formal wear or with a casual black top. You can see Stein's signature multilayers of color, a technique developed by her husband in the early 1960's. The processed took up to six months to create each pin. When I was younger, this was my "go-to" brooch for any occasion. I was an interior designer, and clients and friends loved my collection of brooches, and this was a favorite. At 87, I no longer spend much time out, so I am reluctantly selling much of my collection, a piece at a time. My loss, your gain.
