Dynaco ST-70 tube amplifier freshly rebuilt with upgrades, #3

Description: Dynaco ST-70 tube amplifier rebuilt with upgrades! Ready to go plug and play sounds great! Completely rebuilt. New ce manufacturing can cap New bias circuit resistors and caps - resistors are lower value to provide for more adjustment New choke New gold plated input jacks with wider spacing to accomodate larger modern plugs. Driver board is a brand new fibergalss with all new parts, hand selected and measured by me before installation. Sprague capacitors. Carbon composite resistors. Ceramic tube sockets are all new. An orange led has been installed on the front panel to show power on at a glance, and also under the driver tubes. They match the color of the filaments glowing. Chassis has been cleaned and polished. A couple of pits are visible, but they add to that vintage look. Chrome is shiny. All 4 wire pass-throughs have a plastic bushing installed so there are no wires rubbing on the chassis. The A470 and PA060 Transformers were disassembled, cleaned and painted. These bells are painted "hammered gray" for that vintage look. The can cap is also painted hammered gray to match. All new stainless steel hardware. Extra bolts installed on transformers to provide a tighter clamp with all new fiber washers. Main transformer has been isolated from chassis to prevent transfer of any vibration. New power switch. New mono/stereo switch New 5 way speaker binding posts New input jacks spaced for modern cables Selenium diode replaced with a silicon diode. Diodes installed at rectifier to protect from damage. All new internal wiring. An IEC power cord jack was installed so any performance cable can be used. I will include a standard power cable with the unit. Thermistor installed to limit startup current. Electro Harmonic EL34 power tubes are installed with GE 7199 as driver tubes. All test good. And sound great! 5AR4 rectifier tube is a excellent testing Sovtek. I have played this amp for many weeks to test and it sounds great! DEAD quiet. NO hum. NO sizzle. NO hiss. Basically everything has been broken in to assure reliability. It includes the bottom cover with new rubber feet and a cage. I like to run the amp as seen in the pictures to show it off!
