Description: These are a matched pair of Mk III amps with the original cages. The chassis and transformer covers are chromed. Multiple tiny imperfections and rust spots are present (please see the photos). They were rebuilt and recapped by the original Sonic Frontiers in 1989 and haven't been altered since. I have the paperwork from that time. Both units are signed inside by the tech who did the work. I recently retubed with a matched quad of NOS Ruby KT88 tubes (the tags on the tubes are accurate, not those on the boxes), excellent condition Sylvania 6AN8 tubes, and new JJ GZ34 rectifier tubes. They sound as they should, in my opinion. There are two shipping boxes, each containing one amp with cover installed, tubes and power cord. The paperwork is in one box. Please remove the cover and install the tubes before doing anything else. The shipping cost covers both boxes for domestic shipping. Please contact me for international shipping requests.
