Description: True Vintage 1970's Diane Von Furstenberg Gold Bangle Print on BlackPant & Zip Front Jacket Top Set Couture Labeled as Made Expressly for Joie de Vivre (pure happiness & fun!) Gorgeous! Wish my body could wear this - very figure hugging and flattering in a comfort stretch jersey knit that will turn heads! The top features a smocked wide elastic band, button cuffs, a full zip front, and pointed collar. The pant has an elasticized waistband for stretch and a side seam zipper and hook 'n eye for closure. The lower leg of the pant flares slightly to the hem but does fit my mannequin snug through the thigh area. It is not marked with a size label. It does have an additional couture label added with a toast to joie de vivre! My though that is it is a vintage size 6, but for today's sizes I can say as the best comparison is that it fits my slim mannequin form that is a 34-24-35 perfectly.....like a glove and with very little room left for sizing up. Please check all the measurements I provided below for size, definitely an XS/S. There isn't a fabric content label either. I believe it to be a 50/50 rayon/cotton blend knit jersey fabric. DVF known for this type of fabric. The 1" black elastic in the pant waistband remains good for now and is without any "crinkle" like it is getting ready to go when you stretch it. It is vintage, though, and may need replaced at some point. The jacket top zips the entire front....it would be so chic with a slinky gold, red, or black shell underneath! The pant has a side zipper and top hook 'n eye. I do not find any fading, tears, holes or stains, and no pit or crotch marking or rub wear or piling. A few stitches are broken in the seam that joins the elastic band to the pant waist fabric, but that is an easy fix.
