You can remove both liners in warmer weather. Wear the liners alone or use them beneath the parka or your own jacket. They do not have a hood but I personally prefer to wear a cold weather or waterproof hat when needed rather than having a hood slide over my eyes and face. These 8000 sizes are considered a size Medium in the Dutch Military but they will fit a U.S. Standard size Large. They are slightly smaller than a U.S. Military size Large but I'm 175 pounds and they fit me well. Please check the measurements below to determine if it will fit you prior to ordering. 8000- 0005 - Measures app. 24" pit to pit. App. 20" shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Sleeves measure app. 26" from the outer edge of the shoulder seam to the sleeve tips. Length is app. 35" from the collar seam to the bottom hem. 8000- 9095 - Measures app. 24" pit to pit. App. 20" shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Sleeves measure app. 26 1/2" from the outer edge of the shoulder seam to the sleeve tips. Length is app. 36" from the collar seam to the bottom hem.
