Description: A Fair/good edition of this rare and early Agatha Christie novel. Missing much of the dustjacket yet now enclosed in protective wrap. Fading to top of spine and some minor wear to cream boards. Inscription to Front end paper. Interior Good. A tight copy. Despite being a book club edition this is a very rare book to find, especially with despite the obvious wear an original dust jacket. This book club edition is collectable in its own right on a par with the UK Collins 1st edition. This book contains 4 glossy pictures one of Christies Dog and and a picture of Christie herself, posing a the "Victim" in the story. This was the only UK Christie book that was published as a book club edition in the 1930's and 40's.
