This lightweight and highly durable line exhibits nearly zero elasticity, making it an ideal solution for both sailing and kitesurfing applications. This 12-strand braided line, made from 100% Dyneema® SK75 without an internal core, features a protective impregnation with urethane resin. It is designed for light sheet and halyard applications and offers exceptional strength, with break elongations between 3% and 4%, and only about 0.4% to 0.5% elongation at 20% of the break load. Additionally, the line is easily spliced without the need for special tools. Material: 100% Dyneema® SK75 with impregnation. DYNEEMA® is a registered trademark of DSM. Available colors: Light Blue or Dark Grey. This line is perfect for creating shrouds for masts and poles for small boats, including trapezes. It is widely used by racers due to its lightweight and non-stretch characteristics. For example, on the 49er sailing boats, it replaces steel wire for trapezes, while in Formula 18 catamarans, it provides support for the spinnaker pole or any high-load applications where adjustable strops are required without knots. In smaller diameters, it is often employed in kitesurfing for the sail lines. In larger diameters, it is utilized as lines for off-road winches.
