Description: Dragoons shashka were made last year of Russian Empire 1917.Very nice example of shashka made during WWI. The blade is in excellent condition with a round mark of Zlatoust Weaponry Factory, the year of production was 1917 (last year of the empire) and 2nd quality stamp. The other side with arsenal marks.The brass part of the guard was stamped with unit number as well as scabbard's throat. Also letter A (arsenal) stamped on most brass parts. The wooden scabbard is covered by leather and Unfortunately wooden scabbard has leather losses. The appropriate era bayonet is in almost mint condition.The total length is 38.5 inches; blade only is 31.50 inches only (21)
