Description: DRACULA vampire costume headpiece 1979 vtg Be Something This is a previously-owned, beat-up, youth (or smaller adult)-sized, rubber Dracula half-mask with fabric hair manufactured by Be Something Studio in 1979. Although it can still be worn, it has a few slits on the edge (one in front), making it more of a collectible piece than a costume piece… Be Something masks were created in Chicago by Bob Zagone, who originally owned a magic and novelty shop. The sculpts were excellent with great paintjobs, and the fabric hair made them comfortable to wear and easy to breathe with. The company was known for its Shrunken Head, Man-Wolf and Lotta masks, but never licensed film characters. Unfortunately, during the 1980s, a company called Distortions took over the marker, and the masks were never as readily available.
