Description: This is a very unusual vintage item. It is Flax-Quince and Cucumber Mentholated Jelly that is prepared by Dr. J.B. Lynas & Son - Logansport, Ind. The label also says Guaranteed under the Food and Drug Act June 30, 1906. Serial No 12624. The Directions were to apply to skin when perfectly dry. Rub same until well moistened, then dry by rubbing. This bottle has an unusual lid that is soft like velour on the top. I'm not sure if a person was suppose to use that to rub the medicine in or not. The bottle is 4 1/2" tall, 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" in size. I put it under Quack medicine category and not sure if that is where it goes or not. Please let the photos be the best description. R9Payment is expected within 3 days of auction ending.
