Description: Georgia Normal College and Business Institute, was originally established in Abbeville, GA in 1897, and was moved to Douglas in 1908. Some of the buildings were later used for public school education, then called the Central School. The buildings were demolished in 1984 and replaced by the town’s Central Square Complex. The card was published by Gilbert Post Card Co., Chicago, in approximately 1910. - #6680. This original card will ship USPS standard first class, sleeved and in a stiff cardboard mailer.
