Description: About the item: Measuring approximately 10 by 14 inches, this stunning original sketch features the work of acclaimed Playboy artist Doug Sneyd. The sketch recreates the woman from his original playboy Cartoon, a print copy of which is also included in with the listing (it measures 8 1/2 by 11 inches and please note, the print copy has a Post It that notes the issue date - April of 1995 - in which the cartoon appeared... that Post It is part of the copy and cannot be removed). Both the original, hand-drawn sketch and the print are in excellent and undisplayed condition and will be shipped with the utmost care. Both the sketch (to the left) and the print (to the right) appear in the first scan. The sketch itself appears in the second scan and the print itself appears in the third scan. About Doug Sneyd: Doug Sneyd began his career in commercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for the Toronto Star, Canada's largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboy and his gag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
