Along the length of both strands are a series of GENUINE PEARLS! The pearls are shaped round with a flat side that are referred to as COIN pearls. The pearl farmers insert something into the shells with a flat base which the oysters then cover with the pearl coating creating these on fat sided pearl. There are small silvertone metal beads as spacers. At the ends of the strands that go up to the clasp ends have genuine pearls that appear to be in the fresh water shape. GENUINE PEARLS with a twist! STONES : Pearls - flat on one side called Coin Pearls METAL : Silvertone CLASP: Lobster clasp and extension chain MEASUREMENTS : 19" to 21"" length, Pearls measure about 8mm CONDITION: This piece of jewelry is in pre-owned and vintage used condition.
